How To Request a Softball Website Account

Here are the instructions for requesting a softball website account. You should only do this if you are the captain of a team in the Census Softball League.

  1. Verify that your name is listed as a team captain on the Teams page.
  2. If you are not listed as a captain, another captain on your team must log in and add you through the Captain Changes page.
  3. Go to the main CBWRA website.
  4. Click on "Create new account" in lower left hand corner
  5. Fill in the following and then click "Create new account":
    • User name - please make this your first and last name with a space between them (for example, John Doe is an acceptable user name and john.c.doe is not). The account manager is very particular about this and will change it to this format if you do not set it this way. Nicknames are okay.
    • E-mail address - put your census e-mail in here. The only e-mail you'll ever get from this website is about setting up your account
    • Select "Softball" from the clubs list
    • In the Softball Information section, select your team from the drop down list of teams and check the box to indicate you are a coach.
    • Fill in that last funky item as instructed
  6. You will receive an e-mail that your account request was submitted
  7. E-mail Sandy Peterson to say you've submitted this request (I know this step is stupid, but it's the best we can do).
  8. The website will send you an e-mail that your account has been created. Then you get to set your own password for the account.
